Question: regarding my account

I have created an apple account, but am unable to connect in iCloud.

it says "This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account." so how can I solve this??

Is this error message(s) showing when you try to log into System Preferences/iCloud? Does the ID work other places? If you go to iCloud.com, can you sign into the site using that ID?

If necessary contact iCloud Support. You may have to try twice.
