My phone will switch from audio to speaker mode on it’s own during a call

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.2.6

Speaker dropping out during call I often use 'Speaker' when receiving or making a call on my iphone 11 & 13. During the call the speaker often drops out and has to be reset but call is not lost.
