High Sierra can't download from Apple servers at all
Hello,
I have just upgradet my iMac to OSX High Sierra.
I Run my OSX from an external SSD connected via USB, due to a internal harddrive fail this is the only way to run this MAC.
When i try to download apps from APP STORE the download starts, but stops after a few kb i downloaded and gives an error message ("There has been an error")
I can't update to the latest High Sierra Combo Update either, the error message sounds:
NSURLErrorDomain error -1005.)(-1005)
So i try to manually download the combo upgrade from this link https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1953?locale=da_DK- The download begins, but after a few kb's downloaded it turns to an error "Network connection lost".
I have absolutely no problems downloading from other websites, i can download small and very large files with no connection problems. I have tried to do the download from apple servers with- and without ethernet cable attached, just to make sure that my Wifi wasn't broken.
Under my own faultfinding i have tried to reset the NVRAM and the SMC controller, but no luck. I have also tried to delete the temporary download files in App Store folder, but no luck here either - the problem still exists.
Any ideas what to do ?
