My iPhone 5 c is having a problem of suddenly dying while battery is charged more than 60percent

my iphone 6 battery suddenly dies I have just bought a used iphone 6, and the first thing I noticed was the battery died extremely fast.If I am out and I have charged my iphone fully charged does it only last 1-2 hours if I am lucky. Like it can die at 82% and then I have to wait 10 minutes (atleast) to only turn my phone on again to 10%. The worst part is it dies right away when its on 10% so pleas help me because its getting pretty annoying.
