How do I add alt text to iphone photos

I need a way to add alt text to my photos so that I can publish directly from my phone, without having to edit the media gallery in Wordpress

iPhone 8, iOS 11.2.6, None

Thank you for you reply but marking up is not what I need to do. I need to add ALT text to the properties of the image in order to publish the image.

There are apps that allow you to modify the metadata in photos. You would need one of them, as that is not possible on the iPhone without a separate app.

Edit, then hit circle with 3 dots and turn on markup.
