Left family sharing, now I can't update my Mac apps

After leaving family sharing (signed out, logged on to by own account in App Store and iTunes), I'm unable to update the apps that were already downloaded on my MacBook Pro. It gives me these two pop-up errors:


User uploaded fileUser uploaded file


The apps I'm trying to update are free apps, too. How come this is happening? Am I not leaving Family Sharing properly?
