Couldn t connect to device wireless keyboard MacBook pro

Unable to connect my older generation wireless Keyboard to my MacBook Pro. I deleted it from the paird list to rest. However it won’t reconnect to the device. I get the following error: “!Coudn’t connect to the device”

Specs:

MacBook Pro (15 inch, late 2011)

2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

16GB memory DDR3

Running Sierra 10.12.6

Wireless Keyboard Model #A1314

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.3.3, Actually I am running macOS 10.12.6
