Retrieve text messages

If you mean you want to retrieve a text message you deleted, then you will have to restore it from a backup that includes that message:

Be aware that restore is an all or nothing process. You cannot restore only messages (for example) and any information on your device between now and when the backup was made will be lost.

Do you mean how to restore Text messages that you have deleted? If so, you have to erase your device (Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings), and then restore it from an iCloud or iTunes backup that you made before you deleted the messages: Restore from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

Be aware that with the restore, your device will look exactly like it did at the time of the backup. Anything that has changed since then will be overwritten.

The only way to restore text messages is to restore a backup containing those messages. They are not stored on a separate server and are not recoverable in any way other than the backup.
