I logged into my account and changed my password as I was receiving weird emails about my account. I did not use their link I went straight to the Apple page. Now when I try to put in my new password on my phone it keeps saying Verification Failed there was a problem connecting to the server. I’ve been trying for almost 3 days now.

How can I fix this so I can’t update apps on my phone?
