iPhone 6 compass has never worked

I’ve tried everything possible to get the compass to work but it is stuck and won’t move. I’ve reset the phone no luck, updated software no luck, switched location on no luck, I’ve even gone into the settings and turned everything on but it just won’t budge and never has?
