iphone 6s plus wont charge/turn on

My iPhone 6s plus was working fine and then it died and now wont turn on. My home button on my phone does not work, so I cant do a hard reset. When i plug my phone into my computer, iTunes recognizes it but cant do anything until I unlock the phone, which i cant do. Any help?

If iTunes recognized your device it means your iPhone is on and charging. If you’re experiencing software related issues you will have to replace your display assembly or home button in order to restore device.

Is your display black when you connect to iTunes?
