Duplication (or 5-7 entries) of each contact

Hi,

I recently used the old icloud account to my new iPhone. The contact list is having almost 5-7 like duplication entries for each contact. It's strange to delete each and every from the mobile device itself by going remove contact.. aren't there any facility which I can manage from icloud account itself browsing throw desktop?
