Kanex Thunderbolt eSata USB 3 adapter - eSata not working

I just purchased a Kanex Thunderbolt to eSata & USB 3 adapter but the eSata connection is not working. I have an older Lacie external hard drive and the USB2.0 works fine but the eSata is not. I purchased this adapter mostly so that I could use eSata speeds over USB2.0 speeds.

Any ideas how to let them see one another?

Connecting USB Type C Lacie hard drive to Macbook Pro 15 Thunderbolt 2 port? Hi apple community, I have recently purchased Lacie hard drive (STHG5000400). I have 13 inch Macbook Pro Early 2015, which only has USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 2 ports. I want to get the maximum speed of my Lacie drive by connecting it to Thunderbolt 2 port of my mac. The problem, however, that I cannot find the right adapter. As I understand, I need an adapter from a Thunderbolt2 to a Type C Female. So I can connect it and use better speed of up to 20 mbps (TB2), comparing with the current speed I have with USB 3.0 (5mbps). Is there a solution? An adapter? I need help!

Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter DOES NOT WORK WITH MAC PRO (LATE 2013) As of 6/14/2021 Apple's Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter is INCOMPATIBLE with ALL MAC PRO (LATE 2013). Does anyone know of an adapter for TB3 to TB2 that works for our Mac Pro (late 2013)? We only have USB-A (0.48 GB/s) and TB2 ports (20 GB/s) The peripheral market has already moved on to USB-C or TB3/4.
