Is there anyway for me to turn off 1 update in the App Store which I have no intention of ever downloading and installing? It really bothers me to have to continually tell the notice to remind me later.

As long as it is an older version and it is installed on your Mac, if hiding the app in the Purchased pane didn't help, you will have to put up with the alerts, there isn't a way to stop them.
Usually, you don't see an update for an app that isn't installed on your Mac. The Mac App Store is offering the update because it's told the app is installed somewhere by the Spotlight index of your kit. Is there an older version of the app somewhere on a backup of your Mac?

I DO have the application in question (Logic Pro) but I don't wish to download or install this new update. So how can I get rid of it?
