Apple Watch to Control PowerPoint on iPad

Greetings - this is reopening a previous question. Can you control a PowerPoint presentation on an iPad with an Apple Watch. The basic answer, as far as I can tell is No. However.... You can control a Keynote presentation on an iPad with an iPhone using the built in remote function of Keynote on both the iPad and iPhone (e.g. iOS devices.) By installing the Keynote app on the Watch - it can then control the iPad through the iPhone's connection to the iPad. Pretty cool. As someone suggested, and as I've indicated - you can run the PowerPoint presentation with the iPhone by importing it into Keynote. But, as someone else pointed out - it does unseemly things to the presentation when it does. In my case I lost a lot of transitions and animations that I spent a lot of time building. So, bottom line, no you can't (as far as I can find) run a PowerPoint presentation on an iPad with either a watch or iPhone. However, you CAN run a PowerPoint presentation on the iPhone with the Watch. So, connect your phone to the display instead and load/run the PowerPoint app on the watch and Enjoy!! John
