Mac will Not Stay Asleep

I'm using a MacBook Pro (2017) running High Sierra that will not stay asleep, I have it permanently connected to a Thunderbolt Display.


I’ve searched online and have:

  • Disabled back to my Mac
  • Turned off Wake for Network Access
  • Turned off Power Nap
  • Set Do Not Disturb to 8:30pm to 8:29pm (only out of this mode for 1 minute)
  • Tried disconnecting various peripherals


Nothing works and is incredibly frustrating to see the machine switching off and on continuously. I've run syslog |grep -i "Wake reason" and it shows the following:

The IP address 17.252.252.26 is an Apple Netblock.


Does any one know why Apple keeps on waking up my machine?

Is there a way I can disable this behaviour?


I’m sorry but waking my machine up every 10 minutes is ridiculous and can’t be having a positive effect on a computer I spent a fortune on.


PLEASE HELP!!!
