Sleep-Wake Failure

My iMac running OS High Sierra has for last several days experienced a sleep-wake failure. The diagnostic report has a repeating section as follows:

Hello WuLi,

That report doesn't help much, but normally those types of failures are due to an nupdate or corruption breaking something.

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
