Apple Script that clear input data on specific cells

Hi,

Just want to ask if there is an available apple script that can automatically reset/delete input data on specific set of cells.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi HeraVera,

There are a couple of people posting here who can write you the script, but they'll need details regarding the "specific set of cells" involved.

Information regarding the version numbers of:

Numbers (Numbers menu > About Numbers)

OS X/macOS (Apple menu > About this Mac)

A screen shot of the table(s) involved might also be useful.

Regards,

Barry

Hi HeraVera,

Possibly. AppleScript can read values in specific cells and can set the values in specific cells. Given a map (written into the script), I suspect it can also do the necessary navigation.

As with most thing, the devil's in the details, so I'd suggest making a mockup of what you think the tables should look like, and keep that ready for when the scripters stop by.

Regars,

Barry
