Saving a voice memo text to my voice memo

My friend sent me a voice memo via text message. How do I now save that into my voice memo?

If that is not possible, how do I make it so I can listen to the entire memo in my messages without it going black after 45 seconds?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you want to save an audio message in the Messages app on your iPhone. The good news is this can be saved like any attachment, please follow these steps from this Apple resource:

Share, save, or print an attachment. Tap the attachment, then tap .
Copy an attachment. Touch and hold the attachment, then tap Copy.
