Microphone not picking up voice

I have had an issue for over a week now where my iphone 7 does not pick up my voice (i.e. Siri doesn't recognize my voice, I can't answer phone calls because no one can hear my voice, speech to text). I have tried to restart my phone, but it only works for about 5 minutes and then doesn't. Do not know if it is related, but my headphones are not working either when I put them in the jack. The phone does not recognize that they are in there. No drops and no water damage. Any advice greatly appreciated.
