About APFS Format

I am using SSD hard disk and Macintosh HD formatted as APFS (Encrypted) I tried yesterday to partition my hard disk into two partition the first one is the Macintosh formatted as APFS (Encrypted) and the other one formatted as Mac OS Extended Journaled all this thing I made it while I using the software not on recovery after I hit done it begins to partition and it can't to continue this process the partition can't to mount then I tried to remove the partition the Mac frozen then I forced it to close I started it up to the recovery then I removed the partition my question here : Is there any problem to my hard disk after making this process ?? and also is there any problem to the Macintosh HD Partition??

No to both of your questions. Your Macintosh HD is still good and the space created then deleted would have merged in with the Macintosh HD.


If you want to create a new partition (volume) when your entire disk is APFS, then you should change the View in Disk Utility (10.13.3) to Show All Devices and select the actual disk media to partition. But, you should do this external from your disk. Meaning instead of restarting into Recovery Mode (Command+R), restart into Internet Recovery (Command+Option+R); then use Disk Utility.
