Please help! I can not get my photo library to show all the photos and videos in iMovie. When I click "Photo Library" nothing opens.

Hi,

Check your Photos app preferences and make sure that the box that says "use as system photo library" is checked. If it is grayed out then the library already is your system library.

If your photos and videos are stored in the Cloud, they must be downloaded into your Photos library before they will display in iMovie.

Another thing that you can try is to close iMovie and Photos, then open Photos and park it on your dock, then open iMovie and see if it reads the Photos app.

EDIT: Opening iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys, and deleting preferences from the box that appears, sometimes cures glitches.
