Move media into iTunes Library rather than Copy
It seems on a PC - or maybe several revisions ago - when you added music into iTunes from your computer, it would physically move that file into iTunes.
Now it seems it copies that file. Or really, it seems it creates a link first. Then when you consolidate (or depending on your settings), it will create a copy.
Why is this - it is so frustrating - it's an automatic duplicate of everything!
Then the user is left to go back and delete the other copies. But - forever - a move failure is catostrophic and will error out, where a copy will just note something didn't work. So - imagine you have a file structure with 500 GB of songs. You add those to iTunes, you have checked "make a copy" and/or consolidate your library, but during this process some of the 500 GBs of songs failed to get added. Not only do you have 1TB of music files now - you have no idea which of the original 500 GB you can delete.
In the old days - move would only remove files it successfully moved, leaving the un-moveable files where they were so that you could go try to fix them.
