How do I delete apps on 8plus. The "x" does not appear when holding down icon.

If you can't delete them, check to make sure you have not disabled the ability to do so in Settings > General > Restrictions.

You are probably pressing too hard. Try touching and lightly holding your finger on the icon - don't press. The icons should wiggle and show the "x" then. And, remember, some apps cannot be deleted.

If you're getting the share menu, then you're pressing to hard. Place your finger on an app icon and just rest it there for a moment.
I let my finger rest and all the icons wiggle. No "x" to delete. I can move or rearrange icon apps. I can't delete
they can be deleted, and they wiggle.
OK, so which Apps are you trying to delete? As I indicated, not all apps can be deleted. Can you tell us which ones you are trying to delete?
