We have our entire family on a shared calendar but all events in the shared calendar are under the same colour on my devices. It makes it impossible to know which events are related to which family member. How is it possible to have each family member‘s events coded in different colours?

Thanks for your reply. I am able to change the colour of the shared family calendar but all events, even the ones created by my children (who are all in our family share plan) are all the same colour. When looking at the shared calendar, I’d like each member to have their own colour so I know what event is associated to which child.
If that can’t be done, what’s the purpose of having a cluster of events from 6 people in one calendar with no way to colour code?
Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
If you are speaking about viewing the calendars on the iPhone, once open, look at the bottom of the page, and tap on Calendars. Once that shows you the list, tap on the ℹ to the right side of the page for the particular calendar. From there, you can choose a color for it to be viewed on each particular device. The colors shown are based on the device it is displayed on, so it could be different on different devices.
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that you were using a family sharing calendar. My wife, daughter, and I each use a single calendar that has each of us with our own calendar events, and we can set each one with a different color. Can you not add additional calendars as part of the family shared calendar and assign one to each of the people that are adding events and have different colors added to each? I'm guessing that if you are using family sharing, each person has their own Apple ID?
You would need to set up seperate Calendars. One calendar = one color.
