No sound on Facebook or Instagram videos

so I have en iphone X and the sound for videos on Facebook or instagram donot work. I get the other sounds, And other app like youtube Work. It’s just Facebook and Instagram. Please help!!!!

iPhone My sound on social media when I go to make make a video doesn’t work however on normal camera roll video it works and videos play with normal sound does anyone know how to resolve this thanks

Sound not working on my phone, I am unable to hear any Audio on social media apps on the videos that I, myself record. I can hear the media from videos etc but self recorded videos are unable to be heard. I have restarted my phone as well. Also, on my gallery app the sound button isn’t an usable option.

Try force closing the apps and restarting your device.
