Problems with iPhone X Accelerometer

I received my brand new iPhone X 256 GB at the beginning of January this year - seemed to be working perfectly fine. Rise to wake feature, maps, compass, etc. all working as it should. About a month later whilst attempting to take a video in landscape mode, I noticed that my iPhone was no longer rotating. I‘ve checked and double checked that orientation lock was off - not the issue. My phone’s accelerometer seems to be malfunctioning: rise to wake no longer works, gps recognizes my location but fails to recognize directionality, compass needle not active (remains stagnant at current gps coordinates) and on top of everything, the most frustrating problem is the inability to utilize landscape mode.

Soft and hard resets have failed to resolved the issue. I’m starting to worry that it’s an issue with the actual phone and not the current iOS. There have been two updates since I received my phone, but I can’t pinpoint if either of those could contribute to the issue.

Has anyone else had any similar issues?

Note: my phone has been VERY well taken care of. No drops, not even minor ones, and no contact with any water.
