How do you put a border around a text in KeyNote? e.g. wrap a yellow character with a white line??

May be I did not express my question correctly. I mean to wrap around a font..e.g. line the letter A (yellow in colour) with a black line to make it more stand out.

Yes Powerpoint can do wrap text so I just hope that KeyNote can do that too.

You mean outline text: unfortunately Keynote does not have the full settings to do this properly,
top is outline text and bottom has a shadow applied:
the settings for outline are shown here:
if you have other applications that use text; e.g. MS Office, Photoshop you could import an imagage file into Keynote:
