Thanks! Though I was hesitant to install something else on my computer from the company that infected me to begin with, I went ahead and it seems to have actually deinstalled it. It has been removed from Launch Pad apps. I also deleted the downloaded deinstallation program after I had used it to deinstall AMC. Hopefully this will take care of it for good. We'll see and if it reappears I'll post again.
