how can i see the date of a specific text? i need this for court

I am in a custody battle and need specific text messages to show date and time in order to be able to be used in my case? How do I get the exact date and time information of text messages. My thread just says yesterday and I can’t find a option to display the date

If you need this for legal purposes obtain the app Phoneview (if you have a Mac) or TouchCopy if you have a PC, pull the message thread you need and print it as a PDF. It will show the dates and times.
