Annoying pop-up messages in ITunes

Hi, When I play something in ITunes I then get annoying messages in the upper right corner of my desk top telling me which tune is up next. Very annoying. How can I make this stop? I seem to get these pop-ups even when I close out of ITunes. Thanks, Scott
