Apple Keynote 8.0 was released today. I am disappointed to see that it does not support LaTeX equations, like Pages does. Allowing LaTeX equations in Keynote would allow high-quality math and engineering equations in presentations; this would be extremely useful for faculty in higher education.
Any news on whether or not this feature is coming?

You will need to ask Latex, no one here will know or will be permitted to say what plans 3rd party developers may have. Latex appear to take their time in updating their application to be compatible with Mac.
Thanks for the answer, but actually, it's not a 3rd-party application that I'm asking about, it's Keynote's support of a document-processing language.
Pages has this support built-in for over a year. I'd think that once the code for Pages is written, it would be easy to incorporate it into Keynote.
