Water marks in my iPhone 8 screen

I was taking a shower with my iPhone 8 because I thought it was waterproof. But when I was done my shower I noticed a mark at the bottom left of my screen

I was wondering how I could get ride of it

Usually this is no problem at all, as I take my phone in the shower and will touch the screen with wet hands. Can water damage the screen or reduce its sensitivity? I clean the screen of my iPhone which is not equipped with tempered glass using a wet cloth, can the water from the wet cloth damage the screen?

xs max not water assist like apple talk my phone is XS Max 265 & take photo with my kids in pool then my display showed green line on screen & when talk with apple support he say its not cover water damage & when you see this Specifications apple make adv. its 2M depth ,30 minute https://support.apple.com/kb/SP780?locale=en_US how not cover water damage ???
