Why won’t it let me copy my music from my iTunes computer to my iPhone?

I’ve downloaded iTunes on my computer the latest version, I’ve followed all instructions and it’s not letting me copy the music I’ve streamed on my computer to my iPhone. It’s not letting my paste it in my phone music.
