Apple Watch and knitting

this is still a problem Apple.

dont tell me to make sure my watch is calibrated - it is, I have a Gen 2 watch and it is set up correctly.

dont tell me to turn watch to flight mode when knitting I am not flying I am knitting!

is here any real way of stopping the watch from counting knitting as steps? It makes me mistrust the calculations in general.

Apple Watch 7 not consistently counting flights of steps My new Apple Watch 7 is not consistently counting flights of stairs climbed. I am climbing the same flight of stairs, so the flights qualify as a flight, and I’ve checked to make sure the settings are correct. I climbed 7 flights of stairs today and the watch only counted 2.
