Charging American iPhone with European iPhone cable + plug

Hi everybody

I live in Italy but I have an American iPhone.

I wanted to ask if someone knew if it is possible to use the European iPhone cable and plug to charge an American iPhone (this would be way easier for me) or if I need to use the American iPhone cable and plug + adaptor for Italy. Thank you everybody 🙂
