Why am I continuously receiving this error?? I have not made any changes to any of the setting one because I'm not savvy enough at using the FCPX to know what change out of the box.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

That just means your drive has trouble keeping up while playing back your timeline. It won’t affect your edits or the exported file.

You can turn that warning off in the Preferences.

You may also switch the viewer from high quality yo better performance. Click the little arrow at the top right of the viewer and choose Better Performance.

What drive are you using for your media and how is connected to your mac? How full is it?
