profile manager login items 10.13

On my Profile Manager server > logins items, I have an authenticated network mounts. All my macs (about 80 macs) works fine, when the computer starts, the server connects automatically. I started adding macs with high sierra (10.13) but it seems like this doesn't work anymore. The server doesn't connect automatically. I tried AFP and SMB and nothing works.

Is this a bug? Any work around? Is apple aware of this issue?

Thanks

null-OTHER, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

If you know the USER that will login into each computer, you can login yourself first and insert the server/folder into the user's system preferences.

Login with user: System preference > Users & Groups > login items (tab) // from there just enter the server icon. It's a cheap work around, but that's what I had to do.

You could always write a script at startup, I use to do that, but it's not very efficient.

Apple needs to fix this

We have the same problem. Started testing clients on 10.13 against our 10.12 server. All users need access to two authenticated network mounts. Have worked around as suggested with the user's login items but that puts two open windows on the desktop every login. The user then immediate closes them because they are not vital at the time of login. Annoying to the users. As a result we are still on 10.12 for server and clients despite how snappy 10.13 appears to be.

I need to prepare 32 iMac with the newest OS X in latest four weeks. I invest so many hours for testing it with active directory what really working great but the triangle with open directory and profile manager not really working great. There are a lot of bugs on the server with the certificate. Sometimes works sometimes not. But the biggest problem is how we both and many users told is the bug with the mount issue in the profile manager. I have the task to rollout the macs in 4 weeks and that with the high sierra. I don't like to install sierra and many times later the high sierra again! And i think Tranceplant will not realky do the same. I could be happy with a workaround until the solution cames. Please apple give us an answer. Thanks a lot.
