Does Apple still support the iPod Nano?

My Nano stops playing music in the middle of a song. I have to hit Play again. This happens over and over. It is NOT shutting down, just keeps the song from completion.

Does Apple support this product or does anyone have advice on how to fix?

Thanks!

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Try restarting the iPod.

If that doesn't work, you may have to consider carrying out a Restore (a procedure using iTunes). A Restore removes everything from the iPod and reloads only what you have in your Library.

If you do resort to a Restore, you will need to set your Sync preferences for that iPod (in iTunes) when you first Sync it.

Apple's limited support is this forum, where your fellow users can offer advice and help. iTunes still recognises the iPod. What Apple do not do is sell the nano anymore. There may be options for repair (battery replacement in particular), depending on the exact model you have and the part of the world in which you live.
