Hey guys,i have a broken charger.i’ve been using it for almost a year and it has never caused me any problems (that i know of) the outer layer is broken and i can see the wires.If i go to the apple store would they exchange it for a new one?And can anyone tell me what it can do to your iphone?

I believe that will depend on several factors. Examples:
I suggest bringing the charger (and your iPhone) to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center.
And I suggest not using a charger that has wires visible.

I have stopped using it.The charger did come in a box with my iphone 6+ straight from Apple.In total i used that exact same charger for about 2 years.The first year it was in good condition but it slowly started tearing apart and it’s been torn for a year.I have the iphone 8+ now and i haven’t used the new charger that came with the box until about a week ago.But i also used the broken iphone charger with my iphone 8+.

Store and they can replace it as long as it doesn’t have wires sticking out of it. If it does go for it.
