can't access apple music while abroad

I signed up for apple music in Canada and built a library on my iPhoneSE. I've been living in Austria and traveling in Europe for the last 4 months and will be abroad for another two. Have been paying the monthly fee and everything was fine, until it was not: Since yesterday I cannot access my music library and cannot buy new music, only from Austrian iTunes.
