iCloud Music Library not syncing

Apple Music’s iCloud Music Library feature flat-out does not work for me anymore, ever. Songs I add or upload to my library on my MacBook never appear on my iPhone, and the only way to force it to sync is to turn iCloud Music Library off and then back on, going through the tedious process of having it add back my entire library each time. It’s unacceptable that basic functionality like this doesn’t work on a service I’m paying for monthly. PLEASE fix this.

This appears to be a common issue with iCML since the iOS 11.3 update. There is no fix for this, but there is a work around until Apple fixes this: just create a blank playlist on the iOS device. This forces a read/write with the library stored in iCloud, then all your changes will suddenly get pulled down. You have to do this every time, it's essentially a manual refresh now.

I also have this issue. Devices were syncing fine yesterday. As of this evening Mac, ipad, iPhone all do not sync when adding content to library using the other devices. Only way to force the 'sync' on each individual device is to add a random item of content and then delete it. Frustrating.

same problem for me, everytime I add 1 song to my library, it will not sync to my Iphone, everytime i have to go to settings and turning the Icloud library off and on again, Wiping all my offline songs. Please fix this quick!

I found a workaround for the Apple Music bug until Apple finally fixes it. If your iOS device isn't updating changes made to your library on your computer, just create a new blank playlist on the iOS device... this somehow forces your library to re-sync with the iCloud Music Library and populates all changes to your device. You can immediately delete the playlist after and all the changes stay put.

Same issue since upgrading to iOS 11.3.

Adding a song to the library starts the sync process, but that's hardly a solution.

Before iOS 11.3, this happened very rarely.
