After the problems with macOS 10.13.3 on my iMac Pro I hoped for an easy run with the next update. However, I cannot install 10.13.4 on my iMac Pro. Tried in Safe-Mode, tried with the full version of macOS, alas to no result. There is no special download for the iMac Pro version as with 13.3.
What can I do?

The Combo Update is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update, so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing.
Thanks for helping. The trick was not done tough. I found this one which helped:
I didn't have to restart in safe mode to have the combo installed, just turning off the proxy detection was enough.
So:
- turning off the proxy detection
- tuning off the WiFi and turning on again
- downloading the combo
- installing the combo
For me, the problem was that the 10.13.4 update did not even show in the App store.
This is on my iMac Pro.
Here is what I did that finally worked:
0) Make sure I had a full clone of my disk, just in case!
1) Manually search for and download from the app store the full Mac OS High Sierra installer

(This claims to be 10.13.4).
2) Run the installer to install this over the current working version of 10.13.3 (with supplemental update from March)
3) When the install finished successfully, I notice that I am still at version 10.13.3
4) Now, however, the Mac App store does show the 10.13.4 update, and installing it worked fine.

Same problem here, tried online reinstalling (which installed 10.13.3 again), safe mode, disabling safe boot and wifi/auto-proxy but nothing helped so far.
Apple support recommended online reinstall which did not work as told.

I did this update on last Friday on a iMac Pro running 10.3.2 and it went off without a hitch.
no safe mode, I didn't even use an admin account.

Thanks for sharing that James, it may come in handy for other iMac Pro users. I guess all the little glitches aren't shook out of the iMP installers yet.
I hope so. My experience with OS Upgrades on the iMac Pro has been troubling, to say the least!
BTW My post was not trying to come off as "you don't know what you're doing!" but rather; "why did it work on my system and not on another?" apologies if I did't make that clear
