Validation code

Hi, I had to change my password and when I try to log in on my Airbook, it says to enter the validation code, but give no where to put it in. I have tried to recover my account twice in the past 2 days and nothing has come through. How do I get to register the new password on my mac? Thanks

Apple ID issues My Macbook Air won't recognise my apple id password but will on my iPhone or when I log in but not when I try to update to the latest MacOS. Password not working on old mac Hey my Mac is running on OS X Yosemite v10.10.5. I am signed into my iCloud account, however when using App Store it says I need to sign in again. When I sign in with my password that I know is correct (same one I use on all devices) it says your password is incorrect. However, I get a notification on my iPhone to allow a new sign in and receive a verification code. There is no where to enter the verification code on my Mac though.
