I ask about information on the iPhone, and he tries to direct me to Apple’s website, but I ask about a movie and “I’ve found 9 different versions for your request”. Forreal??
Siri isn't intended to respond to all general enquiries. Ask a question in the right domain and you should at least get an attempt at an answer. Ask it to explain quantum mechanics and it is going to fail. Use Product Feedback - Apple if you have suggestions for Siri's development.

You did not ask about A movie. You asked about a title that appears as a section of many movies. If you were to Google "War of the Worlds", you would similarly find many movies.
It actually wasn’t the movie part I was disgruntled about, I was curious because I knew multiple versions came out, that answered my movie question. It’s an iPhone. It knows when the iPhone came out, so why can’t it just answer the question instead of sending me to the website every time I have a question about Apple on an Apple device.
Why can’t Siri just answer questions.
