Contact image problem

I have set a caller image for one of my contact, it displays as small thumb image, i have reset the contact image again and again for more than 30 times and till now the problem is not rectified.

I set a caller image and stay on the contact page, i can see the page refreshes and the image becomes thumbnail.

I have deleted the contact saved it back, then too i cant receive the full screen contact image.

This is seriously irritating and i dont know what problem i have on my i phone 6s.

Please advice.
