Creation of a Calendar Event from Apple Notes

Like many, I've been very pleased with the improvement in functionality of Apple Notes in the past couple of years. Some of the extended functionality that's been added is very nice.

I've looked around trying to find a way to create a Apple Calendar event directly from an Apple Note. This seems like it should be obvious but I must be missing something.

Example: I like to use Apple Notes to track high level project information and use it a little like a journal for projects. Suppose I put in a Note that details the migration plan of a website, but when I complete the note, I want to create an event or note on my Apple Calendar for that. How can that be done? I've looked on the share menu, and I can create an Apple Reminder, or a task in Omnifocus 2 for instance, but amazingly there's no interface to Apple Calendar?

Outside of manually opening up Calendar and entering this, does anyone have an idea of how to accomplish this?

Thanks!
