my brightness keeps changing by itself on iphone 6s

I already went into display accomidations in general and there is no auto-brightness toggle so what do i do now, im on the latest ios update 11.2.6

My screen brightness keeps changing, I have an iPhone 8 running iOS 11.4 (15F5079a) and my screen brightness has been changing automatically but the screen brightness in control center stays the same. Autobrightness is not on. The scroll in control center shows full brightness but it really isn't it's max brightness, there is no difference when I scroll from full brightness to half brightness.

Ok I have a iPhone XR and display brightness changes by itself,but I have it turned off so it doesn’t but it still does! So annoying cause it goes darker when I’m in darker place it’s suppose to go brighter right? And put the battery percentage back!
