Persistent video overlay not working iOS 11.2.6

Ever since I updated to iOS 11.2.6, videos don’t conti playing in the background when I press the Home button, which is the whole point of the Persistent Video Overlay feature.

I have tried turning off the features in the “Multitasking Doc” settings and the back on, but it didn’t sol the issue. I also tried turning off my iPad and on again, but nothing.

My specs:

ipad 5th generation (2017, 9.7”)

iOS 11.2.6

stograge capacity: 128gb (193gb available)

iPad Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.6
