I am taking my iMac 27 from USA to India. Can anybody tell me if my computer supports the Indian power voltage,Do I just buy a new power cord that plugs into the Indian Power sockets or will I need to use an Voltage Converter. If voltage converter then any what watt I should consider.
US has Electricity at 110V/60Hz, India has it at 230V/50Hz.

I am sorry I’m this question is little awkward but just want to insure things before plugging.
I already lost my one BOSE music system due to this power issue.... so little fearish this time .
I've never been to India but have been all over Europe which is on the same electrical system as India. All Macs and chargers can auto-switch between 115v and 230v supplies. Just read the specs. I don't know a thing about Bose hardware. Too expensive for my needs.
Yes, it will work fine. You will only require a plug adapter for the wall outlet.
As Kappy mentioned it will work fine in the USA. Please reveiw the System Specifications for your iMac and you will see they work in any country, look for the power requirements.
